AiCap Solutions Sdn Bhd, the technology subsidiary of AddCap Holding, has officially launched its flagship AI furniture platform across all 12 Ladaza retail stores in Malaysia. The platform features an AI-powered design assistant that helps customers find furniture matching their style preferences and room dimensions, as well as an augmented reality (AR) visualisation tool that allows shoppers to place true-to-scale 3D furniture models in their own homes using their smartphones — before making a purchase. Early results from pilot stores demonstrated a 23% increase in average basket size and a 15% reduction in post-purchase returns among customers who used the AR visualisation feature. AiCap is also in active discussions with three external furniture retailers for B2B SaaS licensing of the platform, opening a recurring revenue stream independent of AddCap's own retail operations.
